NSGP Grant Support for Nonprofits & Houses of Worship

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides up to $200,000 per site in federal funding for security upgrades at at-risk 501(c)(3) nonprofits and houses of worship. The funding is real and reimbursable, but the application is competitive, and the two pieces that decide most awards are a professional vulnerability assessment and a well-built Investment Justification. NSGP reimburses eligible security investments such as target-hardening (doors, locks, lighting, barriers, access control, and cameras), contracted security personnel, and training and exercises. To qualify, your organization must be a 501(c)(3) located in a participating state or UASI area, and you must submit a vulnerability assessment and Investment Justification to your State Administrative Agency (SAA) before the deadline.
